Drag the yellow button below directly onto your browser's bookmarks bar. On mobile, bookmark this page first then edit the URL.

Visit any webpage — a press release, LinkedIn post, corporate email, political statement. Highlight the text you want to score.

03

Click the bookmarklet

Click "BS Detector" in your bookmarks bar. A new tab opens with the text pre-filled. Review it and click Detect Bullshit.

04

Get your BSI score

Your Bullshit Index score, breakdown across 10 categories, and a shareable result link. Takes about 5 seconds.

🔒

Privacy — What the bookmarklet does and does not do

The bookmarklet only reads text you have manually selected. It does not scan pages automatically, does not read passwords or payment fields, and does not send anything anywhere until you click Detect Bullshit on our site. The selected text is passed via URL parameter — nothing is stored until analysis runs. See our privacy policy.
